processes coda e llbserver not running on Linux 2.4
Hi,
My management server is not able to received alert message from a RedHat Linux 2.4 node.
When opcagt -status at node, it shows the :-
Control Agent /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcctla (10215) is running
Message Agent /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcmsga (10218) is running
BBC Local Location Broker /opt/OV/bin/llbserver isn't running
Subagent 1:
Action Agent /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcacta (10220) is running
Logfile Encapsulator /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcle (10221) is running
Monitor Agent /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcmona (10222) is running
Message Interceptor /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcmsgi (10223) is running
Subagent 12:
Performance Agent /opt/OV/bin/coda -redirect isn't running
I'm not able to start the llbserver, even after I tried to stop/start all the node agent.
Aynone encountered this before?

Re: processes coda e llbserver not running on Linux 2.4
Claudia,
better ask this question in the OpenView Operations forum...
What OVO agent version did you install?
Which Linux (Suse, RedHat, ...)?
Did you check the prerequisites of the OVO agent?
Did you try an opcagt -cleanstart after an opcagt -kill and killing the remaining opc processes?

Re: processes coda e llbserver not running on Linux 2.4
You can try running "/opt/ov/bin/codautil -start" to start the subagent as a quick fix. You can also try opcsubagent -enable coda
