QLA2300_dpc0 - process

Have you seen this process running on your Linux server? I ran the command "top" and noticed this process in teh background. I would like to know aht it is and how to stop this utility from running.

Please help!

find the binary and do a what command on it

what
what /bin/cat

For example.

I believe you will find that the QLA2300_dpc0_process is associated with the driver for a QLogic storage controller in your system.

This must be an utility for Qlogic controller or something. I don't see this process running on my other 2 servers.
