query i7-720QM Mobile Processor

I am going to buy a laptop with i7-720QM Mobile Processor.
This processor has VT support.
So will it allow me to install 64-bit OSs in a virtual environment?
eg. 64-bit OS in a VMWare workstation which is installed on 64-bit windows or linux

Yes it will, make sure VT Support is enabled on BIOS Setup, it doesn't always come enabled by default.
