Red Hat IP Multipathing

I've just been given a server to install and after wards cannot get the IP to connect to the network...

When I asked the network group to check the IP setup on there end they said it was setup with IP Multipathing and I would have to setup the server the same...

Can anyone tell me what IP Multipathing is and how to configure it ?? first I've heard of this .....

Re: Red Hat IP Multipathing

IP Multipathing is a terminology used in SUN (IPMP) to describe a redundant "teaming" of network adapters.

In linux, this normally is known as "bonding".

Search in this forum for bonding and you will get a lot of results.

Cheers.
