I am running Red Hat 5.3 and sendmail-8.13.8-2.el5 on this server and over two dozen others... all except this server can send mail to this CVGcpu ID without any problem... It's only this one server, and it was working until about a week ago when it stopped...
No changes have been done on the server...
Any ideas would be appreciated..

Re: RedHat sendmail issue : stat=Service unavailable
Did the owner of the mail relay server, cvgmx2.convergys.com, drop odccdds01 from the "authorized relay list"?
The other problem, "savemail: cannot save rejected email anywhere" indicates a problem with disk space or permissions. Compare this server with one or more of the working servers.
Is /var full?
/var/spool/mail ##Should be 775
/var/spool/mail/root ##should be 600 owned by root:root; all others should be 660 owned by:mail
/var/tmp/dead.letter ##if exist, should be 666
$HOME/dead.letter ##should be owned by the 660
Hope this helps...

Re: RedHat sendmail issue : stat=Service unavailable
I wouldn't suspect the mail server: cvgmx2.convergys.com, as other mail is going out from my server to this same mail server without any problem, it just seems like it picking on this one mail address..
I've verified all the permissions and ownership and all are correct.. and /var is under / and there is plenty of room in it...
