REgarding Disk

Could you please tell me how to see newley allocated space Eg, EMC has given 9 GB space to Linux server But i don't know how to see. please help me on this

Shalom,

Sometimes booting the server will help. Many systems will not recognize newly allocated space on the array without a boot.

You can also try running script below to rescan the bus, I have had success with this. Check /proc/partitions after you run it to see if the devices are there.
