remote boot and local hard disk

hi,

i installed dhcp and linux terminal server project rpm's and was able to have a pc ( client ) remote boot to a linux server. i would like the pc ( client ) to be able do see it's local disk and write data on it. how would i do that ?
any thoughts ???

I will say use samba. It is easy to setup. Same as you setup in HP-UX.
Or export that partition.

i have not used samba.... will it see the local disk in the local client w/c is unformated, i would like to use the local disk too...

I don't know what happen. I have attached one big pdf file and submit answer it did post it.

Go to www.samba.com. Very good site.
use book. I have book in .pdf format 8MB. If you want that tell me your emil address and I will send it to you.
When you configure samba on server you can use server's disk from client as well as your client's local disk.
Samba setup is really easy if you are not on very restricted environment.
