RHEL 5 with INtel S5000VAR4DIMMR Raid Boot problem

I am trying to Install RHEL5 on an Intel S5000VAR motherboard using SAS (4 drives mirrored into 2 mirrored sets)

I cannot seem to be able to get the additional drivers to apply using the 'install dd' or 'install nostorage' options.

Any thoughts..

Shalom,

If the board has hardware raid capability, use it and set up the mirrors prior to install.

If however the OS can't recognize the drive after that, you have a motherboard feature that can't be used. maybe you should think about software raid.
