samba not working

Recently, when I try to access my samba through smb:///, it gave me this error message "Couldn't display "smb:///", because Nautilus cannot contact ths SMB master browser. Check that SMB server is running in the local network."

Re: samba not working

There is a log file defined in the smb.conf file

find it cd to its directly

tail -f name_of_log

Then attempt a connect

You should get some helpful diagnostics.
