SCSI-Errors after installation
Hi
Can anyone let know how to recover from this situation?After i install linux 2.6 in rx2600 machines,i see these errors..Does SCSI need any fw update or need replacement?

Additional sense: Initiator detected error message received
end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 8833385
SCSI error : <0 0 0 0> return code = 0x8000002
Current sda: sense key Aborted Command
Additional sense: Initiator detected error message received

mptbase: ioc0: LogInfo(0x110a0000): F/W: Device Problem

Hi Rajkumar,
What type of disk it? IS it internal or external?
Have you tried "dd" read command against /dev/sda?
Have checked the status of the device. check /proc/scsi directry
