Hi All,
why "insmod aic7xxx" take so long to insert the module?

aic7xxx 114576 1 (initializing)

sometimes insmod can insert faster, but Unkown type scsi

I remember I got this before, Type: Sequential-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 03

any idea?

The reason it takes long is because it scans for all SCSI devices on the bus.
Make sure your SCSI bus is properly terminated (Read the manual that came with the card)
