Sendmail reviced but can't send

HI~
My mall server do working redhat linux.
suddenly I get mail but cat't send message.

log message:
Jan 22 13:36:08 kdt sendmail[5291]: unknown password verifier
Jan 22 13:36:49 kdt sendmail[5303]: unknown password verifier
Jan 22 13:42:07 kdt sendmail[5448]: unknown password verifier

the reason why this problem occur.

which RH linux version do you use?
did you change something in sendmail config?

please send us output of:
ps -ef|grep sendmail
ps -ef|grep postfi
