shutdown issue with DL380 G5
I have a fresh RHAS3u9 install on DL380 G5, but don't get the power off after shutdown.
As I known that DL380 should be certified by RedHat, what do I miss??

Shalom,
You missed the important step of reading the log after the problem.
/var/log/messages
should contain information.
PSP for the sever, I recommend version 7.91 as 8.0 is hopelessly broken may assist in this problem.

Re: shutdown issue with DL380 G5
Agree with Steven. psp 8.0 is a POS.
We use 7.91 and 7.92 for production servers only and make sure to uninstall the hp-OpenIPMI drivers.
rpm -e hp-OpenIPMI
They caused us much pain and ASR reboots.
