single snapshot from glance > file
I have this posted in the openview performance mgmt forum too...(but this area is a lot more active)
I'm trying to grab just a single snapshot from glance and direct it to a file (really only need the "Process List")
Using:
glance -adviser_off -f ./glance.out -iterations 1
When I look at the output file, (I cat the file and grep for particular process name) and do a sort of the results, I see that it lists some processes more than once, like it wrote more than one iteration to the file.
I'd like to get just one screen of output to this file. What am I missing?
