There isn't a Solaris distribution that works on the Itanium platform.

Solaris (Sun OS) runs only on the SPARC and Intel x86, not Itanium processors.

You may be able to get the effect you want by using the Transitive QuickTransit emulation on top of a linux OS installation on that hardware. http://www.transitive.com/products/sol_itanium.htm
