Hi all

I am not able to see the left pane in qmail login menu which contains INBOX, SENT, DRAFT, TRASH options. After completion of my successfull qmail server setup.

Help me. I get the error "can not create folder invalid inbox name". How to overcome this error.

Shalom rmedidi,

Few things.

1) Check permissions in the items in the users home directory mail folder. Make sure the user owns them.

2) Make sure an imap server like dovecot is running. There may be a compatability problem between dovecot and qmail

3) Check the access_log and error_log from the httpd server to seen enhanced diagnostic messages.

Edit the configuration of squirrelmail to
tell it you are using qmail.
There is a page you can run which checks
your configuration.

You do need an IMAP server as was mentioned
earlier. Check its configuration as well
to ensure it is configured appropriately
for qmail.
