Yout might post the output of ssh -vvv host. And you might also look at the logs on the host. That error is pretty generic.

is it safe to supress it? currently there is no impact on the server.

If it is not causing an issue, I might disregard it. You might look at /var/log/messages and /var/log/secure on es-prod01 for clues.
