stumped. ??? !!!

okay, so I now I have all my linux boxes pointed to AD to provide ldap + kerberos authentication.

works great. but for some wierd reason which I simply cannot figure out.

chown user1 xoops/
chown: changing ownership of `xoops/': Operation not permitted

as myself, but root can.

any ideas what needs to gio into /etc/ldap.conf??

# id user1
# ls -ld xoops
