suse installation
i have the suse linux downloaded on my hard disk and i did a boot cd
i boot w/cd and when installation program asks for the source i cannot show that its in c:\suse9
do i have to put it in cd or dvds?
or can i go on with this installation

Hi,
you can't use c:\path it is not linux path.
You can try to mount your windows disk ex.
/dev/hda1 to some mount point -> /mnt/suse
and then use this path.
I think that easier way will be to put you suse
to cd.

Hi again,
i downloaded the whole 7,5 gb of suse 9.0 and i couldnt show the installing program that way after i decided to put it to the other computer and tried to install from the network but this time there exist the broadcom 440x network cart "parameter"
what's this parameter
What if i burn the whole suse to a dvd do you think thats gonna work

Follow the instructions on the suse site.
Burn the cd's.
Boot your system off the cd and you will be able to install easily.
