SuSE Linux Enterprise 9 on Itanium
I have a customer running SuSE Linux Enterprise 9 on an rx8620, with an MSL6030 on fibre. Are there any utilities for driving the library?

Re: SuSE Linux Enterprise 9 on Itanium
Shalom,
Itanium servers from HP generally only support HP branded hardware. Though built by many manufacturers, its rarely possible to support hardware you don't get from HP. It also could invalidate your hardware support contract.

Re: SuSE Linux Enterprise 9 on Itanium
Hi,
Problem is that all the hardware has been supplied by HP, using Cisco fibre switches for the SAN, and internal NSR E1200 in the library.
Is there anything from the command line within Linux to control this, or do we need to buy a product like Dataprotector?

Re: SuSE Linux Enterprise 9 on Itanium
The MSL will run with native drivers under SLES9 on the rx8620, assuming you are using one of the supported QLA fiber HBAs.
