Swat comes with samba.

http://www.samba.org

Get the latest stable release and install it. It should not touch your configuration files.

From the unstable tree `sid' in Debian GNU/Linux. It would be better if you install the testing version of Debian, get the swat package by doing an `apt-get install swat' after you have Sarge installed. It works out of the box....
