Hi,
For you information, I 've got theses troubles on a fedora 3 and Compaq DL380 PIII 933.
cpqarray or smart 2P card aren't compatible surely because these card was RAID SCSI Card.
My DLT8000 tape has never detect by the Linux drivers.
So if you put a simple SCSI card as Adaptec AIC7xxx or others It's detect fully by Kudzu. Tapes attached.
Basicly it's works fine like this for me...
