there are no .xsession* file

hi, thanks,
there are no any .xsess* file in the root home directory(i lunch the starx command by root). and same result to lunch gdm at boot,(i change 3 to 5 at /etc/inittab file.)

and i checked this is a bug of Redhat 8.0 from internet, but i did not find how to fixed it, Now i just change to KDE environment to be avoid it,. thanks, ^_^
