To create an internet connection

Hi Everybody,

I want to establish an internet connection in Red Hat Linux 9 using an internal modem(Conexant HSF 56k HSFi Modem). What will i do ?, please help me

The www.linmodems.org site indicates that your modem is a so-called winmodem, which means using it in Linux will be more difficult than with a "traditional" modem.

A driver for Conexant winmodems might be available here:
http://www.linuxant.com/

If you aren't familiar with compiling software and installing kernel modules, you might consider buying an external modem with a serial or USB interface: it will probably be easier to use.
