Turbo Linux Emulex driver
Does anyone know if lpfc drivers available for TurboLinux? I searched Emulex website and it looks like they support only Redhat and SuSE. Is it possible to install the driver for the Emulex card(LP9000) in Turbo Linux?
Thanks in advance,
TWT

Re: Turbo Linux Emulex driver
I would be very careful installing drivers designed for another Linux into Turbo Linux.
Drivers interact with the kernel, and most Linux kernel's are patched to meet special needs and not in a way that necessarily works with other vendors drivers.
If Suse or RH has support for this driver, it would be safer to use one of those distributions.
