Ubuntu cryptsetup won't accept password after normal reboot
Hi all,
Strange thing happened for me two days ago. I just wanted to reboot my VM and now I'm no longer able to boot.
My system is running with a full encryption with cryptsetup. I'm using a passphrase to unlock my partition. So far so good. But now it doesn’t work anymore... I'm not sure what I did before, but what I know, I didn't change anything! about cryptsetup.
OS version : ubuntu 13.10 i386
kernel version : 3.11.0-13-generic
I try with qwerty and azerty keyboard but it doesn't work
I always get the error message: unlock failed, bad password or options? (on boot)
Command failed: No key available with this passphrase (live cd)
Only thing I can imagine is that I’m using the wrong keyboard layout, but how could I check that? I never saw my input in the boot progress.
I appreciate any help! ;
