Understanding UDEV Rules - RHEL 5
I know UDEV rules play a major part in the devices building when the OS comes up. Could someone please let me know what files are involved for this for 1. Devices 2. Multipathing in DMM 3. NIC Cards
Thanks
Mike.
Thanks
Mike.

Re: Understanding UDEV Rules - RHEL 5
Here - this may help:
http://reactivated.net/writing_udev_rules.html
As far as SAN Storage and giving them friendly names -- Device Mapper Multipath now offers such facility. It even allows you to spcify ownership of the multipath device as well as permisions. (See /etc/multipath.conf or man pages for multipath.conf)
