uninterruptable process

gents,

I'm running RHEL AS4 64bit... attempting an NFS mount and get the following. I've rebooted the system, but the uninterruptable processes persist across reboots. Any ideas...

root 16271 0.0 0.0 50360 812 ? D Jan30 0:00 mount -- 30.7.102.10:/rpcjqhome
root 17746 0.0 0.0 50356 1112 ? D Jan30 0:00 mount -a
root 22381 0.0 0.0 49988 636 ? D Jan30 0:00 mount 30.7.102.10:/rpcjqhome /rpcjqhome
root 23001 0.0 0.0 49988 636 ? D Jan30 0:00 mount 30.7.102.10:/rpcjqhome /mnt

Re: uninterruptable process

Shalom,

One of your startup scripts or perhaps autofs is configured to run at boot, restarting the process.

Re: uninterruptable process

no... I manually entered those commands... but note the uninterruptable sleep state... how do I get rid of them. I think those uninterruptable processes are preventing me from mounting rpcjqhome.
