I want to give a certain user the ability to use a certain number of command in unix not all , how could i do this .

First you need to get the commands onto your system. I'll assume you can handle that or have handled this.


man sudoers

Linux has sudo installed by default.

You can give any user any root commmand by merely editing the sudo configuration file.
