using lpadmin to add a printer - RedHat 7.3
I am trying to find the lpadmin options to add a printer. If I use printconf-gui I insert the following information: queue name, Queue Type - UNIX (LPD), server (ip of printer), queue (same as queue name), and print driver of postscript. I want to put the printer creation in a script but I cannot find the correct options for lpadmin.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: using lpadmin to add a printer - RedHat 7.3
It SHOULD be
lpadmin -p -m -v
The printer model you should be able to choose from the /var/spool/lp/model directory.
The device-uri can be something file:/file/name.ike

Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"
