Using OmniBack (3.50) on Suse 8.0

Yesterday I installed a disk agent (DA) from my Cell server (HP-UX 11.00 - OB 3.50) to a Linux Suse 8.0.
The install run Ok.
When I perform an 'installation check' into OB, I obtain the following messages :
[Critical] [110:1043] Hostname reported by client ((NULL)) does not
match with its name in the cell manager configuration files (archive).
The nsllokup on the linux server bring me :
archive-lida:/root> nslookup cindy
Server: archive
Address: 0.0.0.0

*** archive can't find cindy: No response from server
archive-lida:/root>

DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO CONFIGURE THE LINUX SO IT LOOE INTO THE /etc/hosts (because this file has the good informations !) ???

Hi

Check the file:
/etc/nsswitch.conf

make sure you have files in your hosts entry.
Ex:
hosts: files dns nis

Hello,

Check the following files :

On linux :

/usr/omni/config/cell/cell_server
/etc/rc.config (FQHOSTNAME variable)

On hp-ux : /etc/opt/omni/cell/cell_info
On hp-ux : /etc/hosts

Good luck.
