Virtual Connect iSCSI HBA configuration on RHAT Linux 5.5
Currently have a BL680G7 on a C7000 Enclosure with two HP VC Flex-10 Enet Modules setup for ethernet and iSCSI via Virtual Connect Manager. The issue I am having is configuring the iscsi adapters as they do not show up on Red Hat as network cards but rather iSCSI HBA Storage Controllers.
HP has an Emulex utility "OneCommand Manager v5.1.53.1" to configure the adapters but they do not show up on the list. I use the same utility on a Windwos box to configure the IP address and iSCSI targets with no issues.
I try using the iscsiadm util to discover and connect to the target storage but the connection fails.
Driver Versions/OS level/firmware:
OS: Red Hat Linux 5.5 x86_64
HP NC-Series Emulex 10GbE iSCSI Driver for Linux v2.104.277.1-2
HP NC-Series Emulex 10GbE Driver for Linux v2.104.277.1-2
HP BL680c G7 ROM I27
C7000 OA 3.30
VC Manager 3.18
