when run command "rup" , other workstation rpc.statd will be dead

would you help me?
when I run command "rup" first time is ok ,
but the other workstations's daemon "rpc.statd" will be dead.
so i can't run command "rup" again, while restart the rpc.statd daemon on the other workstations.

Thanks a lot.

So rup kills remote rpc.statd. Do you kill rup process before running it again ?
Which version of rup do you use, which rpc.statd ?
