why sendmail can not relay massage to localhost users ??
hi all.
My redhat 7.1 with the default installing sendmail 8.11.2-14 and have some virtual hosts. I'm surprising that the users of the virtual domain can recive mail , but the users of localhost can not.
How can i do to resolve it ??
thanks

Re: why sendmail can not relay massage to localhost users ??
Hi
I haven't configure virtual host using sendmail. But I have configured single domain sendmail at home.
http://www.sendmail.org/virtual-hosting.html
This page explain how to configure virtual host using sendmail.
As I see the word "relay", I think you may want to check /etc/mail/local-host-name.
Have you checked # sendmail -bt ?
Good luck

Re: why sendmail can not relay massage to localhost users ??
In order to deliver locally emails, you should define in virtuser table a line for your host :
@ %1
of course don't forget to build the db file.
Hope it may help
