XP1024 and Qlogic HBA's
Does anyone know if Qlogic cards are Ok on a Windows 2003 server? The XP1024 is at firmware level 21-14-02.

Re: XP1024 and Qlogic HBA's
Shalom Suzi,
I believe I saw an out of date doc from HP on the XP1024 saying it was certified. Its doubtful that is changed if my recollection is good.
You should do the following to work eith the disk array:
1) Update its firmware and the firmware of its controllers.
2) Update the firmware for Windows on the Qlogic cards. I'm certain most qlogic cards are certified for windows. I'm certain without stable drivers they will not work right.

Re: XP1024 and Qlogic HBA's
Thanks for your response. We have checked all the drivers and firmware levels. We can't seem to get the server to only see 1 space. There are 2 hba cards in the server for failover and no matter how we configure he server sees 2 spaces.
