XT Modem
Dear Friends..
I have a XT Modem Sportster Model 0484 USR 56K. & i m using RH 8.0 But this modem is not Detect So wht worng. will RH 8.0 Support XT Modem.

Winmodems will not work in Linux without the installation of additional drivers.
Even then, there may be issues.
Its not Linux, its a deal Microsoft made with the modem crowd.
In the end, I just won't put a winmodem in a Linux box. That way, I get good auto detect and configuration.
