Re: disabling logon scripts
Using WINXP, go to Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Local Users and Groups, the duoble-click on the user and select the Profile tab. There, it should show the path to the Login Script. If not, you'll have to follow the same procedure on the domain server. Once you have the path to the script file, you can edit it with a text editor or rename it to keep it from running.
Good luck and Happy New Year!

Re: disabling logon scripts
It is already put in place in the domain server and I am just using the desktop and I need to disable it.
Are there any ideas?

Re: disabling logon scripts
But..... Disconnect the lan cable during boot. The system will use the local cached profile. Afterwards (at the desktop, or during mapped drive connection) re-attach the cable.
Jon
or..... reboot into single-user mode and change the root password. :-)
