Drivers for Win XP

I am upgrading from windows ME to Win XP professional, but while doing so some hardware features as cd-players, usb-ports, some features on the keyboard and so on stops to work.
HP's supprt pages tell me that there are a suitable CD to prepare my pavilion 9910 for this upgrade, but when I call support cebter - they've never heard about it... so they can not send it to me.
After 4 months of trying HP suppport - I am about to give up. Can nyone help me, please?
