error: Windows cannot apply unattended settings during pass (null)
I am getting this error whenever I try to install Windows Server 2008 32 bit on my Proliant ML350 G5 server using my Smart Start disk. I am using a .ISO file on a DVD to install Windows. Does anyone know why I am getting this error?

Re: error: Windows cannot apply unattended settings during pass (null)
I also had Windows Server 2008 freeze during installation on one clone machine. Seemed to have something to do with the BIOS version and motherboard. I never did get it to work even after BIOS update.
I then attempted installation on three other clone machines with different BIOS and motherboards and had 100% success.
Good luck my friend.

Re: error: Windows cannot apply unattended settings during pass (null)
I have found the solution to my issue. I was trying to install Server 2008 w/SP2. I was using Smart Start 8.15 and had to download version 8.25. Version 8.15 did not support Server 2008 SP2.
