firmware on 8565C

I've HP pavilion 8565C.
Yesterday I upgraded my pc with new firmware available in HP site for 8565C.
After upgrading firmware PC is not coming up with OS win'98.
I've configured my pc as dual boot with Win'98 and win2k.
When I boot with win2k system reboots properly. I've problem with booting with win98.
What could be the problem??
