framedyn.dll Windows XP home
While installing the software for my Microsoft-live cam vx 3000, it showed at the start it could not initialize because the framedyn.dll could not be found yet it did continue to install without my intervention. I did check in the dll cache and it is there. I followed the steps from the MS web site to no avail.
While the webcam seem to be working via windows live messenger, I can not click on the icon to bring up the menu and change the settings. It goes to a disclored desk top with a window stating it needs Minimum 800x600 and 16 colors which it is (1024x768 and 32 bit color). sorry for the long winded explanation and seemingly simplistic question
