I have windows 2008 R2 server running on HP Pavilion HPE H8-1210 with AMD FX-6100 processor (six core).
I have enabled Virtualization and DPE options from BIOS.
I also have set the "nx" option to be "AlwaysOn" from BCD, and the hypervisor start option has been set to "Auto".
Hyper-V was successfully installed, but I cannot start any of the virtual machines, because I'm getting the error message: "The virtual machine could not be started because the hypervisor is not running."
Any idea what may be wrong?

Re: Hypervisor not running error in AMD processor PC
Hi,
I suggest to check if the system is compatible with Hyper-V, there is an tool released by AMD to check on the same which is called "AMD Virtualization™ Technology and Microsoft® Hyper-V™ System Compatibility Check Utility." unfortunately download link does not show any file.
I request to check if the HP Support Team or Microsoft Support Team could provide the tool.
Thanks,
I work at HPE
