pavilion n5425
Power plug broke, has anyone else had this problem and do I have to replace the motherboard? It still works on battery.

Re: pavilion n5425
Paul:
I would contact HP at 1 800 HP-INVENT and locate an HP-authorized repair center. Then contact them and discuss the problem. Some repair centers (un-authorized?) may have the capability/willingness to replace the connector which (as you indicated) is attached to the motherboard. Get some price quotes and make a decision based on that information.
Make a great day!
