Power management
I reformated my computer, and now i cant change my power button settings. I cant choose to hybernate my laptop from selecting it on adjust power properties and going to the advanced settings.

I think you have to reinstall some utilities from the recovery CD or downloading from internet.

If you have installed it from OS CDROM, then by default it will not leave any space/partition for hibernating purposes. So, you can install OS from the recovery CDROM. This will make sure that you have your power management system is in place and you will be provided with APM options for syandby/hibernating/etc.
