Presario 2700 cpu problem
MY origianl cpu is damaged.I bought a new one,which is almost the same.Compaq said that it is compatible with my model.When i place it,my laptop isn't working.The original isn't working also.So i cannot get into windows or bios.Is there any way i can make my motherboard accept my cpu???

Do you know the proper technique for replacing the processor in your system? I have been unable to find the Service Manual but perhaps someone else can explain the procedure.
