abs 4.5 server search list can it be revised
ABS 4.5 question again.
I installed abs 4.5 on i64.(I was excited that I was finally going to get this off my to do list :)) I answered the question
Node name list for Database Servers: I left out the node name I was installing the software on.
Later in the install - MDMS CREATE NODE for this node failed. I figured it was due to the node name list did not contain the node name.
Finally at the end I received:
ABS_DB_INIT - Failed to obtain MDMS Domain data, aborting.
%MDMS-E-NODBACC, no access to database server
%ABS-E-NODBINIT, DB initialization failed, run SYS$SYSTEM:ABS$DB_INIT after install.
Status = %X0770A3D2
I made a mess of things.
ABS/MDMS on the other nodes is functioning, this is very good.
How can I recover from my mistakes? Anyone have any ideas?
I have not run ABS$DB_INIT yet.
Thanks

Re: abs 4.5 server search list can it be revised
I figured out my "silly" mistakes.
I had to manually set the node
MDMS SET NODE...
everything is working. no need to reply.
