Boot I64 server from HSG80 storage

Hello,

Is is possible to boot a I64 from HSG80 storage.
I moved a system disk via shadow copy from a EVA box to a HSG80 box.
I used @sys$manager:boot_options to define a new boot device on HSG80.

I tried to reboot the I64 server but it doesn't find this boot device on HSG80.

Did I do something wrong?

All help is welcome.

Toine,

have you set up the HSG80 to allow connection from the I64 system to the target device?

Can you post the result of SHOW Dxxx from the HSG for that unit.

Re: Boot I64 server from HSG80 storage

Hi Duncan,

Yes the I64 server has access to this unit on HSG80 storage.
I have booted the I64 server again from the EVA storage box.
The server is up and running and I'm able to mount that disk on the HSG80 box.
