Rick
This is not right place for this question but Any way you first verify hard drive and CD-R jumper settings.if you want to boot from harddrive you can choose option for Hard-Drive Primary>Master and for CD-R Primary>slave
or
for Hard Drive -Primary>Master
then CD-R- Secondary>Master

ok

Re: boot up problems

Rick,

first of all:
Welcome to the VMS forum, dedicated to the greatest OS in existence.

But, your question suggests that this is perhaps NOT the correct location for it.

Can you please specify "our computer" ?

And the label of the CD you try to boot from?

Proost.

Have one on me.
