Re: Closed Virtual Circuit
can you give some detail on the vms versions and hardware (system and disk subsystems) involved here. what has caused you to replace a disk already or are there other previous errors and issues or changes that have occurred ?

Got 3 HD inside the 4000/105A and 1 HD inside the B4000X.
Also got 1 unit external Digital Tape Drive
connected to that 4000/105.

Re: Closed Virtual Circuit
Call your hardware service organization.
They'll probably want a look at the error logs, and a discussion.

Re: Closed Virtual Circuit
these messages could be caused by errors on the DSSI bus or controller. The name DIA0 to DIA3 are probaly disks (ISEs) with the SCS nodename the same as the disk name.
The DSSI adapter (PAA0) seems to be reporting errors. Look at them using ANAL/ERR.
What is 'four MC cluster' ???
Volker.

Re: Closed Virtual Circuit
The PA port is SCS/CI stuff, and PI is DSSI, which is why I headed away from DSSI.
But then this is (usually) a hardware error with the cluster port, and we don't have enough detail, and even if and when we do have enough detail we're probably going to end up with a "call hardware service" as the likely response for most triggers here.
