Congrat Thread Brad

Hi,

the congrats are getting a full-time job slowly ;-)

All the best to Brad McCusker from hp to his first hat!! Although it is a thing of his past, he still is extremely helpfull with Advanced Server (aka Pathworks) problems here in the forum. Else he has a lot of inside knowledge on the C-RTL and the Unix portability initiative.

Thanks for sharing all this with us here, please hang around and see you at the bootcamp!

All the best,

Martin

I've seen Brad speak at the London TUD. Both there and here demonstrate his knowledge and willingness to answer questions.

Re: Congrat Thread Brad

Thank you very much for the kind words.

But, more improtantly, please accept my thanks for being VMS customers and supporters, and taking the time to help fellow VMS customers by answering questions in this forum. I think this forum is working out to be a valuable resource for the VMS community, and that is only becuase of all the time all of you put into it. Thank you.

Specific comments...

Uwe - I was very disappointed that I could not be in Bonn for DECUS Munichen. I was supposed to do my UNIX Portability hands on seminar, however, we could not work out the logistics in a timely manner. Although I speak no German, I still enjoy that symposia very much becuase of the passion of the customers who are there. Hopefully we can plan earlier and get the equipment in place for me to offer a hands on UNIX Portability seminar next year. I hope so.

Jan - I will not be at ENSA in Munich. They did not choose to offer my seminar, and regardless, I understand all seminars were cancelled. First European DECUS I will miss in many years.

All others - thank you!
